Welcome To The Onnawaffle Mafia

31 year old geek.

Lover of ABJDs, cats, photography and Disney. Prefers Droid over Apple. Mildly obsessed in a non creepy way with AFI, Alexander Rybak, She Wants Revenge, Danny Elfman, Mike Nelson, Chameleon Circuit and Steve Burns. Big fan of Sherlock, Destination Truth, Phineas and Ferb, MST3K, Rifftrax and true crime shows. Currently fangirling over MST3K and Rifftrax. Dealing somewhat crappily with fibromyalgia. Can't remember shit.

I reblog a lot of pictures.

horror-movie-confessions:

To all the haters of found-footage/mockumentary style horror films, just watch The Poughkeepsie Tapes. It will change your mind about the genre, I promise you.”

Eh, nothing will change everyone’s mind.  In fact, promising something will change someone’s mind will probably make it less likely to change their mind because people in general don’t want their minds changed.  That makes sense.  I think.

But yeah, The Poughkeepsie Tapes was definitely one of those movies that left me with FEELINGS afterwards.  I don’t even know what those FEELINGS were necessarily, they were just there.  It was very creepy, even though it took me a little while to get into it.

Also, I love the found footage/mockumentary genre.

  22. fifteenthirtysevenpaperstreet said: This wasn’t very good. It tried too hard to be shocking (it wasn’t), and had zero story. There have been quite a few found footage films lately, and Grave Encounters is one of the few that I would actually recommend. Stay away from Megan is Missing.
