I wish Adventure Time were always about Fionna. I related to her—she’s a curvy tomboy that kicks ass and is fully independent. She’s fun, awkward, uncertain, and does what she thinks is right. I love the way she was the hero of the story, too, because rarely is the curvier girl an ass-kicking hero. She’ll usually be the sidekick or sassy friend or whatever. I just… Want more of Fionna. I related to her more than any other character I’ve ever come across in my entire life.

For a reason that even I don’t understand, people’s constant need to switch the gender of characters drives me crazy. I’m also yet to see it done well, as it’s usually just “let’s take a cool guy character and turn him into a hot chick with big boobs and a tiny skirt”. *cough* BUT ANYWAY!

Due to my irrational hatred of these types of things, I was really aggravated when I found out about the whole Fionna and Cake thing. But then I saw the preview they have up and damnit, it won me over. Fionna is so cute. ;3;
