Since more than half my dolls are named after at least one person/character I got the idea to make some posts that include both the doll and who they were named after.
Doll: Donovan Niccals
Mold: Modded CP Vampire Elf Chiwoo
Character: Murdoc Niccals
Why: I was really into Gorillaz at the time and I loved Murdoc’s last name. And I sure as hell wasn’t going to use 2D’s last name.
Well, when I first didn’t get Donovan I cried too. I tried to buy Elf Yder when he was released but didn’t get him since at the time limited on Luts actually sold out rather than just sat on the site for years. (Hi Harang!) But yeah, I cried. Then looked on the site a bit later, saw Elf Yder was in stock and bought him. I had him directly sent to my friend Kitty and she did his faceup based on Gerard Way’s from the Helena video. She also did Leo’s with the instructions “I want a blue and white sort of ice prince theme. Have fun.”. Clearly she had fun.
We decided to just wait till Animazement for her to bring Donovan/Leo to me since we were both going and when I got him he was so amazingly perfect that I cried. Yeah, years later I would decide he didn’t fit Donovan’s personality anymore and replaced him with an Elf Chiwoo but that doesn’t really matter. At the time he was perfect. <3
This isn’t actually the faceup he had originally… but it’s the only pictures I have uploaded of him when he was an Elf Yder. XD This faceup was done by kittymaru. Different Kitty this time.
Donovan and Key notebook! I love the binding on this one, it’s a matte black paper with shiny purple swirls. It might be kind of a stretch using that all because Key had a purple shirt but whatever, it was nice paper.
Ryan was making spaghetti this weekend. So this really seemed pretty obvious.
This is incredibly dorky of me, but I made a “doll pronunciation guide” video. I made it wearing Jack Skellington Mickey Mouse ears. And a Chuck Norris shirt, but you can’t really see that.

Day 51. … *gigglesnort* Really I had no idea what I was going to take a picture of, but I was originally going to use a red background so I figured I’d use Donovan. Then I was goofing around and put the headband on him and it just went from there.
