I was thinking about how Bubblegum is kind of eviler than Marceline.
Marceline is a trickster but she goes out of her way to only eat the color red and not actually kill people.
Whereas Princess Bubblegum actually eats people. They haven’t directly addressed Princess Bubblegum’s cannibalism on the show yet but they’ve made jokes about the fact that they don’t address it.
Like during the movie club Finn offered her a drink and she said she brought her own and then you see a face inside the drink. And in the Fionna and Cake episode, Fionna asks Gumball if the Jelly Kinders are alive and he lies and says they aren’t.
I think the candy people eat other candy people and Princess Bubblegum is keeping Finn in the dark about it because he would flip out. She’s also sort of a stupid jerk sometimes.
PB is like lawful evil (or maybe just lawful neutral) and Marceline is like chaotic good.
